About Me

Andrew McGuinness is the founder of McGuinness & Co, a leading sport communications consultancy, providing reputation and communications counsel to sports teams, sports organizations and businesses focused on sports.

Andrew has a unique position in sports having played rugby, soccer, cricket, and gaelic football, and coached at Skerries RFC and Belsize Park RFC. In addition, he is the editor of An Irishman on Football, and a lifelong student of sports.

Alongside two decades working in corporate communications at leading global agencies such as Weber Shandwick, and as a journalist at publications including the Irish Times, Andrew has a track record of building and protecting the reputations of clients including San Jose Water and the English Cricket Board. He has vast experience of advising clients to tell their stories from the New South Wales Waratahs rugby team to Leader Kicking.

Andrew lives with his family in Atlanta, GA, U.S.A.
